The ZinStar Vineyard is a unique Zinfandel vineyard yielding ripe flavors at low sugars. This results in food friendly, seamless wines. Since ZinStar can stand on her own, we do not blend her with other varieties. The wines are then bottle aged 4 years prior to release. This allows for the development of her seductive bouquet. Some of the 1982 and 1985 vintages are still coming out of collectors’ cellars and we are getting phone calls condensed into one word, “WOW!”
